Rob Higson is a Learning Technology Advisor at the University of Derby with an expertise in the creation and use of media for teaching and learning. Prior to working in education, Rob spent 10 years as a Video Producer and is interested in underpinning practical filmmaking techniques with pedagogic principles to enhance teaching and learning. Rob also produced and directed the winning film of The Courseware & Curriculum In-House Production Award at the British Universities Film & Video Council, Learning on Screen Awards 2014 and was a finalist at the MEDEA Awards in 2014 with the Flexible Feedback Project.
