Bart is an educational technologist, and expert in hybrid learning at UCLL. He supports colleagues and teams in the development of hybrid courses. He is also involved in research projects in the broad field of hybrid learning and educational technology.

In the past he was the driving force behind educational innovation at the T2-campus in Genk Belgium, implementing mobile learning and VR/AR in technical training. Currently he also coaches school leaders in the development of a customized plan and vision in transforming towards effective digitalisation of learning.
