Professor Tine Baelmans is vice rector for Education Policy and a full professor in thermodynamics and thermal-fluid sciences (Department of Mechanical Engineering) at KU Leuven. In her position as vice rector for Education Policy, she is responsible for educational innovation, its organization and quality assurance within KU Leuven educational programmes. She is involved in policy making on digital transformation, internationalization, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, engagement, student support and well-being. Tine is also a board member of Melexis NV, ACCO CV, UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) and Odisee within the KU Leuven Association, and is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Belgium (KVAB).
