Carel Jansen, MA, is a freelance communications advisor with a background in media, communication and management. For him, people are always the pivot: to work with and to work for. He works in the field of healthcare and science. In assignments e.g. for Leiden University, the Dutch government and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences he has worked with lots of scientists from different fields. During this time, he has learned more on their mindset, working conditions and milieu, and developed methods to let them shine in AV media.
