Mikhail Fominykh

Mikhail Fominykh is a researcher at the IMTEL research group at the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. At IMTEL, Mikhail is acting as a project manager for two education-focused EU projects DC4LT (https://dc4lt.eu 2018-2021) and DE-TEL (https://ea-tel.eu/de-tel 2019-2022). Mikhail is managing nationally-funded R&D projects and acting as a scientific advisor for student projects.

In addition to his work at IMTEL, Mikhail manages an EU-funded project AR-FOR-EU (https://codereality.net/ 2017-2020) as an Associate Professor at Molde University College in Norway. As a volunteer, Mikhail serves as the general chair of the summer school for doctoral candidates organized by the European Association for Technology-Enhanced Learning http://ea-tel.eu/. Mikhail is also active as an entrepreneur. He is the founding director of a technology startup WEKIT ECS (http://wekit-ecs.com/) that produced an open-source Augmented Reality training platform, originated in the Horizon 2020 project WEKIT (https://wekit.eu 2015-2019).
