After her Research Masters in “Infection and Immunity” Franka started working as a PhD candidate at the Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam where she obtained my Ph.D. in the field of Stem cells and renal Transplantation. After obtaining her Ph.D. she started working as a project leader in the field of education innovation at the Internal Medicine dept. of the Leiden University Medical Center in 2017. As part of this job she collaborated with the Centre For Innovation, Leiden University to design, develop and implement different VR and AR applications in the local Medical curriculum.
