Grzegorz Ptaszek, PhD, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland. He was the president of The Polish Media Education Association until November 2020 (www. ptem.org.pl) and is a member of the Polish Communication Association (PCA).

He is the author of two books in Polish, titled Media Education 3.0: Critical understanding of digital media in the age of Big Data and algorithmization [Edukacja medialna 3.0: Krytyczne rozu- mienie mediów cyfrowych w dobie Big Data i algorytmizacji] (Jagellonian Press, 2019) and Talk Show: Honesty on the screen? [Talk show: Szczerość na ekranie?] (Wydawnictwa Akademickie i Profesjonalne, 2007). He has also co-edited several books and dozens of articles on various aspects of the media and media education.
