Luuc Brans
Luuc Brans is a PhD candidate in Cultural Sociology (KU Leuven), studying the ideologization of culture in a transnational perspective. He is specifically focused on the fields of fashion and food culture. Previously a teacher at the University of Amsterdam, he has a warm heart for both education and podcast. He produced academic podcasts for the local public radio in Amsterdam and managed European media literacy projects financed through the Erasmus+ framework. Together with Giselinde Kuipers, he now edits and contributes to the Culture and Inequality podcast, a transnational sociological podcast course co-financed by the European Center for the Study of Culture and Inequality (ECCI) and KU Leuven.
