Ysabel Nauwelaerts is associate professor and researcher at the Department of Management, Strategy and Innovation (MSI) at the Faculty of Business and Economics (FEB), KU Leuven. She graduated as a Master in Applied Economics (UA), and holds a DEA (Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies) from the University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne. She became doctor in Applied Economics at the University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne in 1999. Her main research interests focus on international strategies and relocation of firms in globalized markets, innovation and entrepreneurship in creative / design sectors and sustainability in today’s international fashion.
