Alsu Buiting enjoyed her MA degrees both in Russia and the Netherlands. She is a teacher of Russian as a foreign and native language, teacher of Translation Practice, certified translator, and founder of a Russian weekend school for bilingual children. She has been developing and teaching Russian Language Proficiency courses at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. In her teaching she combines content and language integrated (CLIL) methodology and task-based pedagogy. Interested in different tools, approaches and latest insights in the field of SLA and neuroscience that can help to make her teaching more effective.
