Benjamin Gardner
Benjamin Gardner is a Reader in Social Psychology at King’s College London. He teaches social psychology, health psychology, and qualitative research methods on an undergraduate psychology programme. As Senior Tutor on the programme, is responsible for overseeing a system for supporting tutees to manage welfare and academic issues that may derail their learning. During the pandemic, his own lecturing activities shifted from in-person 2hr lecture formats to sets of 20min videos, punctuated with online learning activities. His research focuses on understanding and changing behaviour, and he has published a number of papers on student and staff experiences of teaching and learning practices in higher education.
