Annelies Raes is currently working as senior researcher within Itec, imec research group at KU Leuven. She is also an invited professor and chair holder at Université de Lille (France) doing research on Technology-Enhanced Learning Spaces. She has obtained her PhD in Educational Sciences at Ghent University. As of next academic year, she will start as BOF research professor at the KU Leuven Centre for Instructional Psychology and Technology. Her main research interests are computer-supported collaborative learning and instructional design within new learning environments such as synchronous hybrid teaching and learning. She has authored several international, peer-reviewed publications in journals such as International Journal of the Learning Sciences, the British Journal Of Educational Technology and Computers & Education.
