Dr. Niels Brouwer (1950) is a leading teacher educator and researcher whose work focusses on the effectiveness of teacher education and professional development. He has been active as a teacher educator and researcher in various teacher education programmes and national development projects in the Netherlands. Since 2015, he works on a freelance basis.
In March 2022, he published his book Using Video to Develop Teaching, based on twenty years of research and development work (see the companion web site www.teacheredsupport.net).
