Anne-Astrid Agten
Anne-Astrid Agten is a PhD researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, KU Leuven. Her research is focused on the use of virtual reality for basic life support training. She has a background in Medicine as well as in Biomedical Engineering. For the past years, she was working as a virtual reality teaching assistant where she contributed to the development of 3D and virtual reality applications for medical education. Previous works include, among others, the Dental Prosthesis Simulator (MEDEA Audience Favourite Prize 2021) and ViSkiLab (MEDEA Special Jury Prize 2022).
