Anne-Astrid Agten

Anne-Astrid Agten obtained her master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at KU Leuven in 2019. She is working as a virtual reality teaching assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, KU Leuven where she contributes to the development of 3D and virtual reality applications for medical education. Previous work consists of the Dental Prosthesis Simulator for Dentistry, ViSkiLab for Biomedical Sciences, CrimeHouseVR for Forensic Biomedical Sciences and StotterVR for Speech Therapy. Anne-Astrid was the main developer of the ViSkiLab app in the multidisciplinary ViSkiLab team.

Besides her interest in virtual reality, she is studying to obtain a master’s degree in Medicine.
