Noémie Krack

Noémie Krack (°1994) is a researcher at the KULeuven Centre for IT and IP law. She joined the Centre in 2020 and focuses on media law, artificial intelligence and the challenges that technology raises for fundamental rights. Since then, she works and has worked on several European Union funded projects (H2020). Noémie currently works on AI4Media is an excellence centre about AI for the Society and the Media Industry, on MediaFutures, a data-driven innovation hub for the media value chain and on the ETDSML project and Erasmus+ EU project.
She holds an LL.M. in IP & ICT Law cum laude from the KU Leuven and a Master in law cum laude with a specialization in European Law from the Université Catholique de Louvain. Since completing her Master’s degree, she undertook several traineeships which gave her the opportunity to work for the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the EU, the European Commission’s Legal Service and an EU Public Affairs consultancy.
