Dr. Christian Swertz is full professor for Media Education at the University of Vienna since 2004 and head of the work group for media education (http://mediaeducation.univie.ac.at/). His main research fields are media education, media literacy, and technology enhanced learning. His publications cover the implementation of media in different sectors including game based learning, educational metadata, and digital culture.
