After studying Geography, Applied Computer Science and Philosophy Dominik Kremer finished his doctorate in the field of Applied Computer Science on modelling places as social entities in touristic contexts at Bamberg University in 2016. Being an employed consultant in the field of content management and content delivery through 2020, Dominik Kremer started a private business in 2017 providing content delivery services for narrative geodata. Customers cover museums, city districts and schools. In 2020, Dominik Kremer started a post-doctorate at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Beside models of individual place-based wellbeing and engaged research in the field of climate adaptation, he led development of the FAU Geo-Explorer, a tool enriching on-site experiences in educational contexts.
