Iris Nemec

Iris Nemec, MSc is a lecturer and research specialist in the field of rehabilitation engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. Her main topics are motion analysis, prosthetics, Assistive Technologies and barrierfree Design. She was member in various funded projects, for example the digitization of teaching in the field of eHealth and knowledge transfer between Stakeholders for accessible technologies. Furthermore, she is active in several voluntary associations, co-founder of the MedTec Summer Academy and board member of the Austrian Society for Biomedical Engineering. Currently, she is mainly working on the topic of Universal Design for Learning as part of her project management of the Stadt wien funded project Barrierfree Design for teaching and Learning (BERTL).
