Dr. Ulrich Fahrner studied math and physics at the University of Augsburg. In 2009, he received a PhD for his dissertation “Explorative data analysis as a tool for learning and fostering knowledge”. In the same year, he became head of the Medialab (Medienlabor) of the University of Augsburg. The Medialab (Medienlabor) aims to support researchers at the University of Augsburg by offering customized exploration tools and technical setups. Dr. Ulrich Fahrner’s research interests are in the field of educational and classroom-based research as well as the analysis of authentic (e-)teaching- and learning-systems.
