Ahmed Yousof

Dr. Yousof holds a Ph.D. in communication and instructional design and brings a unique global perspective to his work as an assistant professor of Art, Media, and Instructional Design at East Stroudsburg University. With experience in both the U.S and the Middle East, he is dedicated to advancing the field of education through his research and teaching.

As an assistant professor of Digital Media technologies and Instructional Design, Dr. Yousof provides students with hands-on opportunities to learn and apply innovative technologies through courses on VR, multimedia design, and instructional design. His research focuses on developing effective computer-mediated and XR instructional approaches that address diverse learning needs and create dynamic, inclusive learning environments.

With a passion for diversity and technology, Dr. Yousof is committed to empowering all learners to reach their full potential. By exploring the instructional design of XR, he demonstrates how disruptive technology can contribute to better knowledge development and a more inclusive educational experience. Dr. Yousof has also developed and taught courses on VR and professional storytelling, as well as VR and Metaverse Technologies. In addition, he has been delivering teacher and professional training sessions since 2008 in the U.S, Canada, and the Middle East, including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Dubai/UAE.
