In 2012 Leen obtained a PhD in Musicology at Ghent University, which focused on computer assisted learning and assessment of musical development in children. As a lecturer of music pedagogy Leen was associated with the teacher training programme of Artevelde University College Ghent. Leen now continues her passion for innovation in education at meemoo, Flemish institute for archives. As project manager of education and online education platforms, Leen is responsible for the customized disclosure of audiovisual content enriching educational settings. She supervises a team of editors and teachers and coordinates interaction and research projects with a variety of stakeholders in the education sector.
