Giuliano Bernardi received his PhD in 2018 from KU Leuven, Belgium, department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT) division STADIUS. He is experienced in acoustic feedback and echo cancellation, as well as in implementing real-time audio algorithms. In 2021, he co-founded CONNEXOUNDS (together with Dr. Amin Hassani, prof. Marc Moonen and prof. Toon van Waterschoot) as a spin-off company of KU Leuven on a mission to make the hybrid collaboration simple and ubiquitous by removing the need for conferencing hardware in platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams. He has also been engaged at ESAT-STADIUS as a guest researcher.
