Megan Fromm
Megan Fromm, Ph.D., is a journalism and media education expert and the education manager for the National Association for Media Literacy Education. She has taught at both the university and secondary levels and has spent more than a decade working with student journalists and journalism teachers to better improve their craft and serve their communities. Megan is a former journalist and was the 2019 National Media Literacy Teacher of the Year. She is the co-editor of Transformative Media Pedagogies (2021) and co-author of Student Journalism and Media Literacy (2014). She is an adjunct lecturer in the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, where she teaches media law and ethics.
