Having come full circle first as an English teacher in the American university system, then as a certified MS engineer and certified digital forensics analyst, and now in the Netherlands as a university English teacher again, my interest in the digital world is still piqued. I have researched and experimented with artificial intelligence in the classroom for several years and helped teachers understand how generative and non-generative AI tools could work in the classroom. As the innovations and practices keep changing, adaptations and adjustments are most likely inevitable as long as teachers have enough information to make the artificial intelligence decisions responsibly.
