Richard Brandt is an academic researcher at the Institute of Journalism and the Erich Brost Institute for International Journalism at TU Dortmund University. He holds a B.A. in Economic Policy Journalism from TU Dortmund University and is currently enrolled in the Master programme Economics and Journalism at TU Dortmund University. He works as a freelance journalist for the German radio station 1LIVE and the German business magazine FOCUS-MONEY, and has previously gained journalistic experience at several local and regional newspapers in Germany. In 2020/21, he studied International Video Journalism at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus, Denmark. Within COPE, he is responsible for the preparation of two modules and for different coordination tasks.
