Olysha Magruder

Olysha Magruder, Ed.D., is an accomplished instructional design, faculty development, and online education innovation leader. As the Assistant Dean of Learning Design and Innovation at Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering, she has spearheaded the development of over 140 high-quality online courses, secured over $250K in grant funding for educational initiatives, and led strategic teaching and learning advancements. With 15+ years of experience, Olysha leverages data analytics, AI, and emerging technologies to enhance learning experiences. A passionate advocate for inclusivity in education, she has contributed to numerous academic publications and global conferences. Recognized for her leadership, she received the 2023 Whiting School of Engineering Leadership Award and was a 2023-2024 Fulbright Scholar at Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland.

Dr. Yvonne Crotty, Associate Professor in the School of STEM Education, Innovation and Global Studies at Dublin City University and Co-Director of the International Centre for Innovation and Workplace Learning, will co-facilitate the workshop.
