Alexander Piwowar
Alexander Piwowar is a trained carpenter who, after studying occupational psychology at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, worked for several years at the Bremen-based company Nextpractice, which offers innovative computer-assisted interview methods for market research, corporate culture analyses and research into socially relevant issues.
He then worked on various digitalisation-related university-projects, currently at the virtUOS, the centre for digital teaching, campus management and didactics at the University of Osnabrück (UOS). Here, ideas and approaches for dealing with digitality in university teaching are put into practice, the DigiLab is also set up and operated in this context.
The interest focusses on how to deal with changing and challenging realities in order to actively, consciously and responsibly shape them instead of ‘just’ being users of digital tools.
