Alexa MacDermot is a SUSI PhD student in the School of Social Work, Social Policy, and Social Justice in University College Dublin. Her PhD is about “Irish neurodivergent women’s experiences of identity, social relations, and employment”. She is a postgraduate researcher at the Geary Institute for Public Policy, and a Board Member for AHEAD who are an Irish NGO that supports disabled students in third-level education and into the workplace.
