Wim Machiels is the Head of ICT Facilities for Education and Product Owner at KU Leuven Association, leading a team responsible for managing central IT solutions for education. His team, comprising software developers and application experts, leverages both in-house and commercial software to enhance learning experiences. With a background as a Java developer, Wim now works in an agile (Scrum) environment as a Product Owner. In his coordinating role, he actively contributes to IT policy advisory bodies within the IT department and KU Leuven Association, ensuring strategic alignment between technology and education.
