“Technology enables us to work more efficiently, learn smarter, and save valuable time.” This vision drives my work and research. It forms the foundation of my mission: leveraging technology to make learning processes smarter and more efficient. Innovations like XR (Extended Reality) offer unique opportunities to create impact, especially when integrated strategically and with a human-centered approach. By actively involving end-users and stakeholders, solutions are created that are both effective and sustainable.
My work focuses on applied research aimed at improving learning and training through innovative technologies. I help schools and organizations translate innovation into concrete action plans tailored to their unique contexts. Drawing from scientific insights and practical experience, I support organizations in designing future-oriented solutions. My approach combines educational design with strategic thinking, always aiming for achievable and sustainable results.
As a researcher at the Centre of Expertise Sustainable Business and Digital Innovation at Thomas More, I have contributed to projects such as ITHT (Immersive Technology in Health Care Training) and XR.net. Additionally, I coordinated the XR Lerend Netwerk, part of the Flemish XR-Actieplan. My passion lies in connecting people, ideas, and technology to achieve sustainable progress together.
