Karen Linten is the point of contact at Mediawijs for the themes of online opportunities and risks, with a focus on media effects and media education. She coordinates the work and the website for parents, MediaNest.be. In doing so, she also explores ways to inspire vulnerable parents in their approach to media education. She coordinates Mediawijs’ work for the Belgian Safer Internet Centre (Betternet). In the past, Karen has also worked on projects related to news literacy, elections, and well-being.
