Mart Mojet

Dr. Mart H. Mojet, presently teaching NLT (similar to STEM) at RSG Magister Alvinus, Sneek, the Netherlands. I graduated as a biochemist, did my Ph.D. in biophysics, and enjoyed nine years of Post-Doc research in England, providing a sound basis for a teaching career during the last 24 years. Besides teaching I have developed teaching material on subjects like statistics and 3D-printing. At present I am investigating the learning efficiency of VR-technology, on an 3-year NRO PostDoc-VO grant.
In parallel I devised a virtual campus, which entails hybrid classrooms with some students physically present, others via life-size projection screens. As my students are in puberty or young adolescence, peer-to-peer contact is vital for their development. Therefore student-student communication was included via additional projection screens. The result provides an interesting research model for social presence theory.
