James Cull

James Cull played a central role in the development of Birkbeck’s Immersive Learning Centre (ILC), with particular responsibility for engaging staff and students to inform and shape the facility’s strategic direction during its development phase. Since the ILC’s opening in September 2025, he has led initiatives spanning ongoing staff and student engagement, pedagogical development, and the cultivation of external partnerships and collaborations. He is especially interested on the intersection of virtual reality, climate change education, and community-based storytelling.
