Juuso Kojo is a Digital Pedagogical Mentor and Digitalization of Learning and Teaching Expert at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, University of Oulu. With over 20 years of experience in the field of education, Juuso’s mission is to explore and develop how digital technologies can best support teaching, learning, and collaboration.

In his role, Juuso supports faculty members in the digital transformation of their teaching and coordinates faculty-level development initiatives. As a learning designer for the EduMedia project, he bridges the gap between pedagogical theory and practical technical execution. Juuso is particularly interested in how multimodal, pedagogically designed media—such as video, podcasts, and interactive materials—can make learning more accessible and meaningful. Recently, he has focused on integrating Generative AI into the media production workflow, utilizing it as a partner for ideation, scripting, and visual asset creation to help educators produce concise, learner-centric content efficiently.
