Fiachra McCleary has worked in adult education for over 18 years across China, Thailand, Myanmar, the UK, and Ireland. His recent work focuses on the design and development of free, interactive digital learning content, with a particular emphasis on supporting learners in Myanmar. Drawing on experience in diverse educational and cultural contexts, he is interested in how educational media—especially interactive video—can promote active engagement and improve access to learning. His recent work builds on a master’s dissertation exploring how interactivity in educational video can enhance learner participation and understanding in digital learning environments.
