Lucia Mesquita is a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies (CICANT), Lusófona University, Portugal, where she is a member of the Media Literacy and Civic Cultures Lab (MeLCi Lab). Her current work includes participation in the ERASMUS+ project AI-LITERATE: Upskilling Higher Education in the Age of Generative AI and Disinformation (2025–2028), in which she coordinates Work Package 2 on needs assessment.
