Dr. ir. Joke Monteny is a senior researcher and lecturer specialising in canine ethology and human–dog interaction. Her research focuses on dogs’ social behaviour towards humans, and she teaches applied ethology and dog training across multiple programmes. She provided the scientific framework and behavioural content for both the CASOP test and the VR tool.
Together, the presenters explore VR as an innovative, low-threshold approach to science communication and education, reducing reliance on live animals while enhancing learning outcomes.
