Ines Springael serves as CTL Lead at Breda University of Applied Sciences, where she leads the Centre for Teaching and Learning. Previously, as AI Programme Manager, she led comprehensive institutional AI implementation including the AI Pioneers team and developed the AI Strategy Compass (AISC) framework, which received recognition at UNESCO's Global Forum on Ethics and AI in Education. Under her leadership, BUas became the first EU University of Applied Sciences to implement Claude for Education institution-wide, serving 7,500 users.
In her current role, Ines leads the strategic merger of BUas's AI programme with the emerging community for teaching and learning, creating an integrated CTL structure that balances professional educational expertise with community-driven innovation. She is pursuing doctoral research on organizational AI readiness assessment, focusing on the gap between AI literacy and human readiness for AI adoption.
