Ani Yeghiazaryan is a Media Literacy Project Manager at Media Initiatives Center, with a robust background in journalism, PR, and communications. She has extensive experience in media relations and communications and demonstrates a strong commitment to Media Literacy education and pedagogy.
Ani specializes in developing comprehensive Media Literacy training courses and modules for students, teachers, and school leaders. She has designed and edited a Media Literacy toolkit, created a training module for teachers, and developed a module for headmasters to evaluate how Media Literacy is implemented and integrated into school curricula, how teachers are teaching it, and what students know and learn about Media Literacy. She has also authored the “Code of Ethics” for teachers and leads Media Literacy programs and projects, including the organization of Media Literacy Week in Armenia. Her work emphasizes embedding Media Literacy across the educational process and fostering critical digital skills in learning communities.
