Oleksiy Yevsyeyev

I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Multimedia Systems and Technologies, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics (Kharkiv, Ukraine). My academic and professional work lies at the intersection of immersive media, digital storytelling, and interactive learning environments.
I am particularly interested in how immersive and interactive media formats can be used to transform educational and cultural content into engaging learning experiences. My work explores the design of digital narratives, virtual and augmented learning environments, and media-based approaches that support learner engagement, interpretation, and co-creation. A key focus of my recent research is the use of AI-supported workflows to assist educators and designers in structuring content, designing learning paths, and developing interactive media experiences without fully automating the creative or pedagogical process.
I have been involved in international research and educational initiatives connected to European programmes, including projects in the areas of digital cultural heritage, immersive learning, and multimedia systems. I actively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of educators, designers, and technologists, aiming to bridge academic research with practical applications in education and media production.
