Egoitz Etxeandia is Head of Europe at Playlab, a platform born out of MIT in 2023. In the same spirit as Scratch — but for AI — Playlab is a place where educators and students don't just use AI, they create their own AI tools for teaching and learning. Today it is used by around 900,000 people, including more than 4,000 educators across the UK, Spain, Ireland, Romania and India. Egoitz works hand in hand with schools and universities to bring AI into the classroom in a way that is practical, safe and genuinely useful for teachers.
