Katrin Ihler studied Computer Science at Osnabrück University and started working for the elan e.V. directly afterwards at the end of 2017. There she has been working on Opencast, an open-source software lecture recording. For the past two years she has been teamlead of the DevOps-Team that is responsible for maintaining both hosted and on-premise installations of Opencast for clients, most of them universities. Additionally, she is active in the Opencast community and part of the Opencast board.
