Dr Kim R. Sylwander, is a researcher at the Digital Futures for Children centre. She has conducted research on children in digital environments across CSOs, government, the UN, and academia. Her work has covered children's rights, technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse, and the effects of online hate and harmful content. Her current research focuses on the impact of smartphone use on children's mental health, children's experiences of AI and educational technologies and child rights by design.
