Dr Sophie Mary is a Research Associate at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She has a background in sociology and media studies. Her work has explored the experiences of vulnerabilised families, including families facing mental health difficulties, disabilities, and/or social care involvement. Her recent research explored ways to help parents and practitioners support neurodivergent young people’s inclusive and safe media use.
